We can handle just about everything! Services available include: tune-ups, oil changes, brake service, engine and transmission service, computer diagnostics, radiators and heating repairs, tires, exhaust systems, shocks, and vehicle inspections. We do all general maintenance work: brakes, tires, exhaust systems, shocks. We specialize in electrical repairs. And, of course, air conditioning systems. We work on every make and model out there, foreign and domestic. There's not too much we can't fix.

About Us:
Kevin has been working on cars since 1984, and opened his own repair shop in 1990. He grew up in Southborough, attending Assabet Valley Tech. After getting married, he moved to Northborough where he and his wife are raising three daughters, and he continues to run his repair shop.
Lamy Automotive provides tune-ups, oil changes, brake service, engine and transmission service, computer diagnostics, radiators and heating repairs on both domestic and foreign brands. The shop also sells tires and offers full tire service.

I don't live anywhere near Northborough, but on my way to Cape Cod a couple weeks ago, I had transmission trouble on I-495. A kind passerby stopped to offer help, and recommended Lamy. I stayed in a hotel and was waiting at the shop when they opened the next morning. Despite a packed Friday schedule, Kevin fit me in and made every effort to figure out the problem, which was tough because there was nothing obviously wrong (the car was still running, no warning lights on or anything). They tried totally flushing the transmission at my suggestion, and checked over everything else they possibly could. Kevin actually had to drive over to a Honda dealer to get more transmission fluid for it. They got it all done that morning, and probably undercharged me.
Best part is, he was honest about the iffy chances that the repair would work. Sadly, it did not (I made it about 50 more miles before the transmission died again, for what I am treating as the last time), but I don't think anyone could have saved it at that point. Kevin was honest, kind, patient, and professional; everything we all want in an auto shop but is so hard to find. I wish I lived closer so I could take my (future new) car to him forever."
